The nugget of a new game concept is transformed during the Pre-Emption Games design process to become a fun and engaging board game with broad audience appeal.
Origin Story
Pre-Emption Games is a family owned, operated, and inspired game development company. Our aim is to design games from our love of play and learning and to share them with others who enjoy the same. Located in the beautiful Fingerlakes region of New York State, we strive both to enjoy and to strengthen our environment. Many of our game ideas come from the little things we can notice in our community and the world around us that can be translated into bigger concepts. Nature’s economy and Community health are the bases from which we leap.
Mission
At Pre-Emption Games, our mission is to provide the best board game experience possible. Foremost in this is designing using natural, recycled and found materials in game development and prototyping. If we can avoid all the extra plastic we will! We wish to preserve wild and scenic places and keep our children and their children healthy and happy.
